Very useful is sniffing Localhost (that is not supproted in ms network monitor). But grouping messages in conversations (request, response ...) appears not to be very helpful, because I need to restore authentication dialog.

I have downloaded SocketSniff from both

I unzipped the file to C:/Program Files/SocketSniff/

On running the exe, I selected the mysqld.exe process
and got an error \"Failed to start the socket sniffer - error code 65535\".
A new file appeared in the /SocketSniff/ folder called SocketSniffHelper.dll
and AVG2011 intercepted it as a virus \"Trojan horse Dropper Generic2 BSSW\"
and moved it to the vault.

I would really like to use this tool, but I don\'t know what you could say to reassure me.
